The Future of Country Tough Homesteading

With the possible sale of Von Holten Ranch, Country Tough Homesteading is going from having a yearly expo and in-person classes to having products available for shipping, monthly online classes, and in-person classes.
In-person classes will have a shorter time frame to enroll because if VHR sells, we will still fulfill the classes that are in the time frame, before we leave the ranch.

The in-person classes will be taught by seasoned homesteaders from all over the United States, including a crowd favorite from the 2024 Expo, our mennonite friend Mrs. Mary Ella Zimmerman.
Once David and Brandy relocate, the option of a yearly expo may not be out of the picture. We will have to wait till the dust settles to know if that’s something we will be able to continue.
Some of the first products that will be available by Black Friday will be whipped tallows and hand made soaps. Our main direction will be medicinal herbs.
